The Village Grind Mural

Sometimes a wall just needs a personal touch or a little something extra spacial. This cooperate mural for The Village Grind coffee shop in West Greenville, SC is just that, an artwork made with intention. Pulling together the color, visual flow, and aesthetic of the business, Glory created this mural to work in tandem with the design of the space, completing the warm and cozy environment.

Darin R. Gehrke Ceramics Collaboration

The world of ceramics and painting are forever intertwined as we know some our oldest drawings and paintings are preserved through the material of clay. Working as a painter with potter Darin R. Gehrke on this collaborative series, an older practice of the relationship between form and surface was revisited where Darin provided the form and Glory designed the surface. This ceramic collaboration riffs on the phrase “as the crow flies” with multiple iterations through vases, platters, and smaller vessels.

Teresa Roche
X GB&D
X GDL

A collaboration to celebrate the summer solstice, Teresa Roche’s textile pattern “Spoonful of Sugar” inspired the palette for this ceramics collection by Glory Day Loflin. Set to feast with tasty tapas courtesy of Golden Brown & Delicious, these pieces explore the intersection of sculpture and function with painterly specificity.

Candle Collab with
The Southern Artisan

With fragrances like patchouli, cinnamon, and rose petal, these hand thrown candles poured by Allison Baynard Loflin of The Southern Artisan fill a room with the warm glow of the thoughtfully handmade. Taking cues from nautical landscapes and maritime Pacific coastlines, Glory’s thrown vessels feature gradients inspired by Maine’s deep blue tides or Floridian sunsets on the water. Candles commissioned by Gg’s Homegoods.

Gg’s Home-goods

Sisters Grace and Glory Loflin of Gg’s Home-goods revisit face painting by making wearable art in the form of masks. Hand-painted linen textiles by Glory are sewn by Grace into face coverings, complete with adjustable ear straps and customizable metal bridge for the nose.
